DESCRIPTION  Each bag is hand woven of tightly woven strands of doum palm to create a beautiful and strong cylindrical container with tight fighting lid and strong rope handle. Beautiful when used as a hand bag worn at the crook of your arm or as a decorative piece for your home. Each bag is all-natural and dyed with plant based dyes indigenous to the semi-nomadic Turkana tribe of northwestern Kenya. Through years of drought, craftswomen have woven these baskets to help their families survive.
